The morning routine
A steady start to the day. Help getting up, washed and dressed, and personal care done in a way that keeps your dignity intact and the morning calm.
Some days go more smoothly when the right person is there for the morning, the meals and the parts of the week that are harder to hold on your own. We provide that help in your own home, across Coffs Harbour, with workers who stay long enough to learn how you like things done.
Core supports, or assistance with daily life, is the everyday help that keeps a person settled at home. It can be personal care, help getting up and going in the morning, meal prep, medication prompts, and the household tasks that add up over a week.
It also covers the quieter work of building a routine that holds, and the living skills that make a home easier to run. Support can be regular, at set times each week, or a drop-in when a particular part of the day needs a hand.
This is the help-at-home layer. It can stand on its own, or sit alongside getting out into the community and, for some people, a fully supported shared home.
A steady start to the day. Help getting up, washed and dressed, and personal care done in a way that keeps your dignity intact and the morning calm.
Planning and cooking meals you actually want to eat, and a reliable prompt at the right time so medication is one less thing to track.
The washing, the tidying, the shopping and the small jobs that pile up. Kept on top of so home stays a place you want to be in.
Cooking, budgeting, appointments and the daily skills that make a home easier to run. Built up at your pace, alongside you, not done for you.
Support at set times through the week, or a drop-in for the parts of the day that are harder. As much or as little as the plan calls for.
A worker who already knows how you take your tea and what a good day looks like, so you are not starting again with a stranger each shift.
Everyday support only works when it is the same person, most of the time. A routine is easy to write down and hard to keep when the worker changes every few weeks.
Our workers stay. That is the whole idea. Low turnover means the person at your door in the morning is someone who already knows your home, your medication, and the small things that make a day go well.
Over time that consistency does the quiet work. The routine holds on its own, the same calm every evening, and the support stops being something you have to explain and becomes something you can simply rely on.
We support adults with mental health, psychosocial and neurological support needs. Core supports suits people who want to keep living in their own place, with steady help for the parts of daily life that are harder to manage alone.
More on who we work withA short call or a message. You tell us which parts of the day need a hand, and we listen before we suggest anything.
We check that core supports sits in your NDIS plan and work out roughly what regular or drop-in help would cover.
We introduce a worker whose way of working fits how you like things done, so the first morning is not a cold start.
Help begins at the times that suit you, and the same worker keeps showing up until the routine holds on its own.
Your person is settled. The routine holds on its own. The same faces every morning, the same calm every evening. Care is not a promise but a fact you can see for yourself.
Tell us about the parts of the week you would like a hand with. We come back the same business day, and there is no pressure to decide anything on the first call.
